CARLOS PAULO GEY VÁZQUEZ

Director Lawyer - Tax and Commercial

Specialized in Tax Law in the international mobility of people and legal advice to companies. He has been part of Ernst&Young Abogados and PwC. He is currently Managing Attorney at Legal Angels.

He was successfully involved in various business development projects.

CREDENTIALS:

  • More than 100 successful Beckham Law applications during 2023.

  • More than 200 returns of improper withholdings to Spanish investors in foreign funds.

  • Co-author of the book "Displacement of workers and international teleworking" by the Lefbvre publishing house.

  • Preparation of a report on tax implications in the constitution of an SL in Spain.

  • Within a period of one year, it has achieved that an SME recovers 90% of the debt due to non-payments, increasing its turnover by 10% for the year.

  • Tax restructuring of 3 groups of international companies after the Brexit announcement.

  • Tax Due Diligence in the sale of a Spanish company for €167M to a foreign investor.

JOSE Manuel López Fernández

He has been practicing law since 2018, focusing his area of practice on commercial, civil and arbitration law.

Silvia lousa alonso

Strategic business advisor

After working in corporate banking and M&A in New York and Madrid, Silvia was responsible for several consumer product categories at Amazon. She is currently the Director of Business Development and Digital Strategy at Jealfer, with slow fashion brands such as Pertegaz, Jorge Vázquez and Viriato.

CREDENTIALS:

  • Opening of international markets for Spanish fashion brands: United Arab Emirates, USA, Canada and Germany

  • Construction of digital commerce platforms integrated with social networks and implementation of an omnichannel stock management strategy

  • At Amazon he managed the P&L of more than €20M, obtaining growth in sales as well as improvements in profit margins. He also launched new product categories, being responsible for catalog KPIs, traffic, conversion, inventory, as well as financial ratios.

  • At EY he advised a PE fund on a €90M LBO and successfully closed the acquisition of a chain of private schools by a foreign fund.

  • At Dior USA he carried out a client and talent loyalty and retention project.

JOSE LUIS CORRAL

Strategic business advisor

After his time at Credit Suisse in analysis of mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, divestitures and high-yield financings in the TMT and real estate sectors, he joined Amazon in the e-commerce area to be responsible for Brands Partnerships in Spain and Lead Generation from Europe on Amazon Marketplace.

CREDENTIALS:

  • Sale of more than 700 million euros of the company GAV Real Estate in Spain (exclusive advisor to the selling party, process in progress)

  • £650m high-yield bond offering by pan-European fiber operator (lead advisor to sell-side, announced September 2015)

  • Divestment of a 30% stake in Interoute, owner of Europe's largest fiber network, by Emirates International Telecommunications (exclusive advisor on the sale, announced in March 2015)

  • Estimated £2.9bn acquisition of a 30% stake in combined mobile operator O2UK/3UK by a major pension fund (advisor to the buy-side, withdrew from the process last week, March 2015)
